In the fourth quarter of 2022, the top 5 business apps in New Zealand demonstrated varied performance in terms of downloads, active users, and revenue, according to Sensor Tower data.

Microsoft Teams saw a notable decline in weekly downloads, starting at around 5.9K in late September and dropping to approximately 1K by the end of December. Active users also decreased steadily from 207K to 86.7K over the same period.

Zoom Workplace experienced fluctuations in weekly revenue, peaking at $1.3K mid-October before settling at roughly $819 in the final week of December. Downloads followed a similar trend, starting at 3.9K and falling to 1.4K. Active users peaked at 60.1K in early October but tapered off to 24.8K by the end of the quarter.

SEEK Jobs & Employment maintained relatively stable download numbers throughout the quarter, with a slight decrease from 2.9K to 1.5K. Active users fluctuated, reaching a high of 64.2K in mid-October and ending the year at 47.5K.

Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver downloads showed moderate variability, starting at 2.5K and remaining around that figure with slight increases, peaking at 3K in early December. Active users remained fairly steady, fluctuating between 25.1K and 27.9K.

Microsoft Authenticator downloads began at 4.2K and saw a peak of 6.1K in late November before dropping to 1.2K by the end of December. Active users showed a similar trend, starting at 160K and decreasing to 142K.
